Today was the first day of filming, the weather has not let us down as it was on average between 13-15 degrees Celsius in Kirkby and Nottingham as we were out working from 12pm-6pm. Overall the filming went well in my opinion, I am looking forward to being able to upload the videos onto Premiere Pro to start editing the video and to see the gaps that need doing for the performance. It was a fun time working with the "brothers", behind the scenes video will definitely be up due to how many times we had to film one specific shot which took us around 20 minutes to do it up to our standards. We also ended up saving money for the train due to being able to buy a group ticket so travelling down to our city location was faster and easier. We paid for the "brothers" train tickets ourselves as they are helping us with our work so we felt that it was only fair if we paid.

In this post is a presentation showing different record labels I believe could work well with my band Minor Crisis, I have written brief information about each label, remembering that the chosen label must work well with my chosen genre. I have concluded the presentation with my opinion of which label would help my band the best to grow.

From my focus group my teacher asked about representation which I did not include in my focus group, therefore I have decided to add a blog post about how I have considered representation in my music video, so the representation of mothers and young males. The Mother In my music video I will not focus much on the mother due to the fact she is playing a small part to help bring her sons back together, her role is to be a supportive mother therefore I will be representing her as a sympathetic and understanding woman, this will be shown through her reactions on the phone call scene which she will appear in, she will be someone that other mothers will look up to, although she will roughly be in the video for 10 seconds she will be the reason why the brothers return to each other, I will be asking the person that will act as the mother to have a variety of upset and disappointed faces along with her body language showing she is not happy and by having her put her hand on her face to show...

In this post is my storyboard, I have filmed myself talking through my plan as the ideas were either written in note form, code or drawn therefore explaining exactly what the aims are for each scene would be easier to understand.

Here is my focus group presentation which also has been filmed and has turned into a video uploaded onto YouTube therefore I have placed my presentation first and below is my video, some of my focus group ideas are already decided on however this is due to my analysation of my survey which I did not long ago and some ideas for the focus group were decided on by me such as the band name as I feel very confident in the name. Analysation of the Focus Group With the help of our class we have decided to stick to our original idea of having the first minute of the storyboard as it is already planned and to have one of our split screen ideas later on when the beats in the song get stronger and faster so that the editing can be fast pace. We have decided to leave the lover out of the video unless there is a time where the video needs her in it or if we struggle with ideas, this is because we all agreed the video should focus on the brother's relationship.
