Making of Minor Crisis

To plan this I firstly decided what song I wanted to definitely use (top 3 songs I liked best are in my introductory post), after speaking to my friends and family for advice I decided to go for Imagine Dragon's "Amsterdam, this is because I had more ideas what to do with the music video for this song, I did want to go for The Neighbourhood's "Sweater Weather" however due to the song having it's own original music video it did start to get me into the habit of stealing too many ideas if I was to use that song which I did not want to fall into the trap of doing that.

I decided to have a band as I wanted to have some instruments in the video as in the song you can specifically tell that there is a drum and guitar used, I liked the idea of having a trio therefore I thought by having two musicians and a lead singer the band would work well. For the band name I knew I either wanted some alliteration or an oxymoron, this is because I wanted a catchy/easy to remember band name, I think that alliteration and oxymoron's stick in people's heads well therefore I kept searching in random word generators what words I liked such as "trio", anything earthy such as the word ocean or any planets, however after searching oxymoron's I found the perfect name which is "Minor Crisis", I believe that this is a unique name, it is sharp and to the point, easy to say and remember.
